Experience

I’m a licensed professional counselor passionate about helping clients work through anxiety, grief, and depression. I have nearly 15 years of experience helping survivors of sexual and domestic violence in community mental health, non-profit, and private practice settings. I also have significant experience helping clients work through various life transitions and stressors. My approach is person-centered and I often utilize EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic approaches. I have an undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College, and a graduate degree in Counseling & Development from George Mason University. Additionally, I’m a mom of two kids, and am familiar with some of the unique challenges parents and adolescents face in this high-pressure area.
